Before I broke into tech, I was working 12-hour shifts in the hospitality industry.
I spent a decade managing restaurants, training staff, grinding day and night.Then one day, I sold everything I owned, packed up my car, and drove across the country with $1300 to my name.I slept on the floor—wedged between a couch and a wall (not kidding!)—reading books about Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Netflix.Why?
